Jimi Hendrix had already become legendary and passed on (in 1970) just before I was old enough to know about him. But I was a teenager in the early 70’s and I became a big fan. His influence on the world’s music scene was a game-changer and he accomplished this within a very short career lifespan of four years, only recording three albums. One can only speculate about what he may have accomplished if he’d enjoyed a longer life.
