This colorful artwork of a poodle with a psychedelic 60’s vibe is a portrait of a real cutie that I come across sometimes on my morning walks. If she spots a human from half a block away she starts to get excited, her head tossing this way and that, and by the time she gets close to you she is the most joyful creature you can imagine. It makes my day every time I see her! So I asked her owners if I could do her portrait. I tried to express her fun, happy-go-lucky nature in this work.
